Product not eligible for returnThis brand’s Nikwax product Tent & Gear Solarproof is a high-performance, safe and easy-to-use waterproofing and UV-blocking treatment for all waterproof synthetic fabrics.
This product provides a long-lasting water-repellent finish, increases the fabric’s durability and protects against damage caused by UV rays; a single application can double the effective lifespan of the fabric. Can be applied to dry or wet synthetic fabrics.

To get the most out of the UV protection and the long-lasting water-repellent (DWR) treatment, Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarProof® it is best to apply it to new gear.
During use, the fabric of the equipment will attract dirt and other contaminants, which prevents water from beading on the surface of the fabric. When this happens, the DWR can be restored by washing with Nikwax Tech Wash®.
Over time, the DWR coating will wear off with use. The DWR and UV protection can be renewed by reapplying Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarProof®.
