60 days to change your mindThe Tempesta GTX Carbon/Cloud is a men's winter trail-running shoe from La Sportiva.
This model has been designed for trail running in winter, with a lightweight, waterproof shoe. At just 340g, it's as light as a summer shoe. Yet it has a water-repellent upper, a waterproof membrane of the GORE-TEX waterproof Gore-Flex membrane (softened for greater comfort) and a Sock-Shieldcollar, which acts as a mini gaiter around your ankle without ever getting in the way, thanks to a sock-like construction that keeps your feet dry on all your winter outings.
In terms of comfort, there's nothing to complain about, with a very pleasant, supportive fit, excellent cushioning and a seamless construction that avoids pressure points. A little extra is the quick-lace system, so you're on your feet in seconds.
The grip is also excellent, especially on winter terrain, with a mesh sole that is FriXion® Blue mesh sole.
In short, the Tempesta GTX is a very light trail shoe designed for winter use, offering everything you need to keep winter running a pleasure.
