Very lightweight and compact, this compass is suitable for both beginners in orienteering and survival experts. It features both metric and imperial scales and can easily be slipped into a trouser pocket or a small bag. Its base is equipped with a magnifying glass and phosphorescent needles to facilitate reading.
This compass is fitted with a folding sighting mirror to maximise accuracy and ease orientation. This sighting mirror can also be used as a toilet mirror and as a distress mirror by signalling with the reflection of the sun.
