| GORE-TEX® ePE | The ePE (expanded polyethylene) membrane in the new GORE-TEX® products marks a key step towards responsible performance, delivering highly durable and high-performing products designed for a long lifespan. The brand-new GORE-TEX® ePE membrane is lightweight, thin, yet strong. To create a GORE-TEX® product, the membrane is combined with carefully selected fabrics, such as recycled fabrics, solution-dyed or undyed***. * Contributes to Gore Textiles’s goal of eliminating environmentally harmful PFCs from the lifecycle of its consumer products. This objective is achieved here through the use of non-fluorinated materials. ** Thanks to the use of a new membrane with lower mass and the selected textile(s) for the laminates (Higg MSI) *** Depending on the laminate used |
