MasselottesThesePETZL are designed for mountaineering, ice climbing and dry tooling.

The Masselottes are positioned on either side of the ice axe blade. When striking, the ice axe’s balance is improved for precise anchoring in hard ice. The geometry of the Masselottes optimizes the blade's jam in cracks.

They are removable, allowing you to adjust the technicality and weight of the ice axe to suit the climb you have in mind!
