Trekking sleeping bag -
The Light Down -5° Blue Depths is a trekking sleeping bag from the Millet brand.
Designed with duck feathers, it provides good warmth and improved insulation. A draft collar at the neck helps retain the heat generated by your body. This model features a K Dry Down water-repellent treatment to prevent the down from clumping in humid conditions, keeping the bag light and dry.
Its comfort temperature of 0°C and significant compression capability make it ideal to take on your treks or hikes. To ensure proper protection during the night, this sleeping bag includes a hood with a double drawcord and shoulder draft collars. Finally, its mummy shape close to the body enhances thermal protection, and the internal pocket allows access to essentials without having to leave the bag.
This product is certified Oeko-tex® and/or bluesign®, two labels guaranteeing environmentally friendly production and the absence of harmful chemicals for both the planet and your health.

How to wash your sleeping bag?
- The sleeping bag should be machine washed at a maximum of 30°, on a delicate cycle, and air dried.
- Use a mild detergent and turn your garment inside out.
- To ensure optimal washing without damaging the product, reduce the spin speed to a minimum.
- Also close Velcro, snap buttons, and zips and loosen elastic cords before putting it in the machine.
- To avoid clumping of the thermal insulation in your sleeping bag, we recommend placing 2 tennis balls in the dryer drum before running it at low temperature. Several drying cycles may be necessary to completely dry the product.
- Do not dry clean.
- Do not iron.
- Do not use bleach on this garment.
Composition:
- Main fabric: 100% Polyester 20D 380T
- Secondary fabric: 100% Polyester 20D 400T Ripstop with durable water-repellent treatment DWR without PFC
- Insulation: 90% Duck down, 10% down fibres certified RDS with durable water-repellent treatment DWR without PFC
| H-BOX CONSTRUCTION | The H-box construction is the most classic and comfortable. It achieves an excellent balance between thermal insulation and compressibility. |
| K DRY® | Insulation developed by Millet using natural down treated with a water-repellent finish consisting of a fine polymer layer added to the down, creating a hydrophobic barrier that repels water while maintaining its lightness and insulating value even in damp conditions. This treatment does not affect thermal performance and allows the down to breathe. A key factor for comfort, this insulation will keep you perfectly dry, for a long time and effectively. |
| RESPONSIBLE DOWN STANDARD (RDS) | The RDS standard guarantees down and feathers sourced from ducks and geese that are well treated, living in good health and expressing their natural behaviours, without experiencing pain, fear or distress. This standard covers the entire supply chain, from breeding to the finished product. |
| OEKO-TEX® | Oeko-Tex® is a testing, auditing and certification system for environmentally friendly operations throughout the textile production chain. It covers all relevant operational areas (management, production technologies, resource use, quality assurance, safety precautions, social conditions, etc.) in its sustainability review. To be certified compliant with the Oeko-Tex® standard, companies must meet criteria related to environmentally responsible production processes and be socially committed at all stages of production. |
| BLUESIGN® | The bluesign® system is the solution for an environmentally friendly textile supply chain. It regulates the use of harmful substances from the very start of the manufacturing process and sets and controls standards for safe and ecological production. |
