Kume 40 Flint

The Kume 40 Flint Stone is a backpack from the brand Blue Ice designed for mountaineering enthusiasts and skiers addicted to technical and challenging terrain.

This improved version of the Kume model offers new advantages in terms of carrying comfort, durability, and weight. Blue Ice has also innovated by creating a new 40L volume, perfectly suited for your high mountain excursions lasting one or several days.

Specifically designed for winter and technical adventures, the Kume 40 features a dedicated pocket for avalanche safety equipment, ski carry attachments, ice axe loops, a side compartment for your ropes, a helmet holder, and many other options. This makes it the ideal pack to carry and organise all your mountaineering gear. The low-profile belt provides good support and extra comfort while offering excellent accessory options with its pockets and gear loops. The shoulder straps also have attachment points for lanyards.

On technical ski tours with lots of gear, every gram counts. The metal frame of the back panel can be removed if you want to lighten your pack and save a few more grams. Furthermore, despite having a larger volume than the Kume 38, this 40L model is almost 180g lighter than its smaller sibling, providing a noticeable comfort advantage.

Regarding the materials used, Blue Ice has selected them to ensure extreme resistance to abrasion and tears, as well as maximum waterproofing, while opting for lightweight textiles.

Thus, the Kume 40 will accompany you throughout your life, providing all the necessary equipment to reach the summits!
