- Shank: Matryx® Light Jacquard Layer
- Midsole: low-density foam EExpure+ for enhanced Rebound, protective TPU layer
- External sole: Vibram® Megagrip and Vibram® Litebase
| MATRYX® LIGHT JACQUARD |
Matryx® is made up of individually coated and Polyamide fibres Kevlar® . This process enhances breathability (up to 200 g/m²) by allowing the wicking away of sweat to occur more effectively, meaning your feet stay dry for maximum comfort. The new Matryx Light Jacquard® layer is three times more breathable, and its flexibility ensures that your foot fits the shoe like a glove. |
| EEXPURE+ |
A new generation of foam designed specifically for trail running shoes, used on a 6 mm overall heel-to-toe drop. The foam EExpure+ midsole is in direct contact with your foot, providing optimal propulsion and cushioning, reducing foot slippage within the shoe and minimising blisters! It is more durable and offers greater Rebound (+35%) and Comfort than the previous version. |
| VIBRAM® MEGAGRIP |
Vibram® Megagrip is a high-performance rubber compound that offers unrivalled grip on both wet and dry surfaces. Extremely durable, it’s the perfect solution for covering long distances – from hiking to walking, and from trail running to MTB raids – whether you’re an athlete or simply a nature lover. It gives you confidence and control by maintaining the perfect balance between stability and flexibility, allowing you to adapt better to the ground. |
| VIBRAM® LITEBASE |
Vibram® Litebase is an innovative technology designed to significantly reduce the weight of the sole by reducing the thickness of the rubber, whilst maintaining the layout and structure of the lugs, giving it the same performance as a thicker sole. The technology Vibram® Litebase enables the sole thickness to be reduced by approximately 40–50%, from 1.7 mm to 0.5–0.9 mm, depending on the type of sole, resulting in a weight reduction of 25–30%. The significant reduction in the thickness of the rubber does not compromise the sole’s grip, durability or the risk of cuts. |
