Its lightness, achieved through the use of heat-shrink tubing, gives it an unrivalled performance advantage over mechanical systems.
It will come in handy when tying the self-locking knots needed to secure an abseil or to set up a quick sheaving system. Two knots are recommended for this practical technique: the Prusik and the Machard.
It Jammy can be used on ropes of any diameter, whether single or double, and whether with two strands or with a single strand.
