TheInstinct VSR is designed for experienced to expert climbers looking for a versatile climbing shoe.
At the request of the athletes sponsored by Scarpa, the company decided to redesign the shoes with a view to producing a more flexible model. The materials used in the climbing shoe are similar, but have been fitted to provide a more responsive feel when climbing in this shoe. The rubber on the sole has also been redesigned by using this rubber Vibram® XS Grip 2.
The fit features a buckle and Velcro an elasticated cuff that wraps snugly around the instep for maximum feel. With a more cambered shape whilst remaining fairly flexible, and a narrow, grooved toe, this is a truly preciseboot. The heel, which is surrounded by rubber for greater grip during hook shots and when driving to the basket, pushes very strongly forwards to provide incredible adhesion/grip and power.
