The unique ribbed design channels heat from the stove to the sides of the pan, increasing the heated surface area. When used with liquid-fuelled or remote cartridge stoves such as the WindPro® II, it can also act as a windbreaker as it extends beneath the pan.

Installation:
- Place it around the pan, ensuring it extends 1.3 cm beyond the base of the pan
- Adjust using the dial
