Unlike other filters, Water-to-Go filters use three filter technologiessimultaneously.

- First of all, activated carbon filtration, but unlike conventional filters which dedicate almost 70% of their surface to adhesives, Water-to-Go filters are adhesive-free, thus increasing their efficiency. Carbon filters, on the other hand, cannot filter out protozoa, bacteria and viruses, although they do remove chlorine and some heavy metals.

- That's why Water-to-Go uses two other technologies, contained in the filter material itself: a non-woven substance developed by NASA using nano technology in a patented process. On the one hand, 2-micron nano-pores block contaminants that the carbon could not stop, and on the other hand, when the filter is wet, nano-aluminates emit a positive charge that attracts protozoan, bacterial and viral contaminants.

This provides a level of filtration unmatched by any equivalent product.

They have been rigorously tested by several of the world's most recognised independent organisations in India, the USA and the UK, including BCS (Biological ConsultingServices) in Florida, a highly specialised and recognised organisation. BCS has found that these filters remove over 99. 9% of most contaminants that may be present in water (including chemicals, heavy metals, hormones, bacteria, viruses and suspended impurities).
