No subject to promotional offersThe Drift from Edelrid is a compact and ultralight ice axe designed for ski touring and glacier hiking. Weighing only 250 g and measuring 45 cm in length, it easily fits into a backpack to accompany you on outings where an ice axe might be necessary.
Its slightly curved shaft made of anodised aluminium features an ergonomic shape and a sandblasted surface for a secure grip. A grooved texture on the lower part further enhances grip. Its 4 mm steel pick is corrosion-treated and lightened by large cutouts, as is the adze. The ergonomic head promotes control, while the centre of the adze perpendicular to the straight part of the shaft allows for more efficient strikes.
The Drift also includes an integrated snow protection cap on the pick as well as holes for a carabiner clip on the head and at the bottom of the shaft. Certified according to the EN 13089 Type 1 standard, it offers a lightweight and compact solution for travel on snow and glacier.
