Dark Machine

The Dark Machine is a technical ice axe from Grivel designed for use in ice climbing.

Very specific, the Dark Machine has an aggressive curve allowing an optimal inertia to plant its ice axes in ice climbing.

To guarantee its versatility, it is equipped with the Vario system. Thus, it is possible to change the types of blades very easily for a suitable use. By default, the ice axe is sold with the type 2 Total Ice Varioblade, ideal for ice climbing. Other blades for dry tooling or mixed use are available.

The carbon handle is based on the G-Bone technology. The result is a lightweight, thinner, but very strong handle with a good grip. The handle can be used in 3 different positions:
- By the handle to release the wrist area,
- On the upper part of the handle for more traction and grip, 
- Above the handle to be used with both hands. 

The Dark Machine is a technical ice axe with a fairly obvious use! It will satisfy the most demanding climbers.
