It allows you to fill your water bottle with water you find on your hikes and other adventures, whether it comes from a lake, a river or any other natural source.
For filtration, the water passes through micro-fibre tubes which block 99.99999% of bacteria and other protozoa. You can therefore drink clean water with complete peace of mind.
The Sawyer filter has a huge use potential as you can filter up to 300,000L of water. No replacement required.

How does it work?
Water passes through micro-fibrous tubes side walls, preventing bacteria and protozoa from passing through. You can therefore be sure that you are drinking fresh and clean water

The Mini Filter can filter up to 300,000 litres of water from lakes, rivers and other natural water sources. The heavy-duty filter can be backwashed and reused over time. No cartridge or replacement is required
Efficiency
The SAWYER MINI filter filters out 99.99999% of bacteria (Salmonella, Cholera and E.coli) and 99.9999% of protozoa (Cryptosporidium and Giardia). I meets the EPA standards and even achieves higher scores than the EPA standards regarding filtration percentages without the use of chemicals or batteries
