| Lyocell - Tencel® | Lyocell is a hybrid fibre manufacturing process that is far more environmentally friendly than those used for modal or Viscose, in which almost all the chemicals used are recycled. Lyocell is the generic name for both the manufacturing process and the fibre. Lenzing AGTencel® is the brand name of Lyocell marketed by the company. The Tencel® manufacture of this product involves the use of eucalyptus sourced from PEFC-certified forests, as these trees grow quickly without the need for pesticides, fertilisers or irrigation. |
