| Lyocell - Tencel® | Lyocell is a hybrid fibre manufacturing process that is far more environmentally friendly than those used for modal or Viscose, in which almost all the chemicals used are recycled. Lyocell is the generic name for both the manufacturing process and the fibre. Tencel® is the brand name of the Lyocell marketed by the company Lenzing AG. It Tencel® is manufactured from eucalyptus sourced from PEFC-certified forests, as these trees grow quickly without the need for pesticides, fertilisers or irrigation. |
