60 days to change your mindThe Backland helmet is a helmet from the brand Atomic specially designed for ski touring.
Its AMID construction combined with Holo Core allows for maximum shock absorption and offers protection 40% above industry standards. The AMID foam is a revolutionary dual-density foam system that protects you upon impact. With this manufacturing process, you will be very well protected in a helmet that remains lightweight.
In terms of comfort and fit, the Backland features the 360° Fit System technology which allows for 360° adjustment for a more precise fit that adapts to the shape and size of your head. The helmet also includes a Recco reflector to assist rescuers in case of an avalanche.
Regarding ventilation, the Backland has vents as well as the Aircon system for better heat dissipation. For added comfort, there is a removable and washable 3M X-Static lining that is antibacterial and odour-resistant. Moreover, its magnetic Fidlock® buckle allows you to fasten your helmet easily so you can focus more quickly on your objective!
Finally, this helmet is multi-standard, meaning you can use it for skiing, climbing, or cycling!
