Atomic, the Austrian ski brand has been making fantastic powder, freeride, piste and race skis for almost 60 years and would easily be considered on of the pioneers in the world of skiing. Atomic’s story started in Austria in 1955, with the firm initially concentrating on manufacturing skis, in particular for downhill racing. Over time, as skiing styles changed, Atomic expanded its range of skis and now offers, in addition to its renowned race skis, on-piste, all-mountain, powder, park, backcountry touring and Nordic cross-country skis.  The company’s Doubledeck technology was the first to adapt automatically to the skier’s style and skiing conditions, providing extra responsiveness and power. Atomic have build a sloid name for themselves with powder skis like the Bent Chetler, freeride skis like the Backland FR 117 and women's powder skis like Backland WN 102.
