Buying a pair of children's touring skis: making the right choice
To allow even the youngest skiers to discover ski touring in optimal conditions, brands have developed skis specifically designed for children. Lighter, more maneuverable, and more confidence-inspiring, these models make ascents easier and offer good stability on the descent. On Snowleader, you'll find a selection of children's touring skis adapted for learning, progression, and family outings.
How to find your way among the models
To choose the right pair of children's touring skis, it's important to consider the young skier's skill level and experience. A lightweight model will make the ascent easier, while the right length will improve maneuverability and control on the descent. Skis that are neither too long nor too demanding will allow the child to progress with confidence and fully enjoy every outing in the mountains.
