The Backland 95 2027 is a touring ski from the brand Atomic. A true freerando ski with its 95mm waist, it will allow you to really enjoy the descent while keeping a fairly light weight on the ascent.
The Backland range has built its success on its perfect adaptation to the two aspects of ski touring. Indeed, the Light Woodcore provides them with extreme lightness for ascents and impeccable stability for descents. Moreover, they perform equally well on packed snow as in powder.
This model sits exactly halfway between a freeride ski and a touring ski; it can tackle powder, tracked snow, and even groomed snow. It features the Horizon 3D Backland spoon-shaped tip which offers exemplary behaviour in powder and makes the ski even lighter and easier to ski off-piste, even on crusted snow.
Its Dura Cap Sidewall construction guarantees ideal power transmission as well as excellent edge grip on all types of terrain, and its tip rocker allows it to be comfortable in all snow conditions. Additionally, it incorporates a carbon insert that reinforces the ski’s structure without adding weight. On the ascent skin side, there are pre-cut skins specially designed for this ski.
This Backland 95 is truly aimed at freerando enthusiasts seeking a light and wide ski that will adapt to all conditions.
