Backcountry skis - Women -

The Backland 85 2027 is a women's touring ski from the Atomic brand. This model is the most versatile in the range, delivering strong performance both uphill and downhill.
The Backland range has built its success on perfectly adapting to both aspects of ski touring. Indeed, the Light Woodcore optimises the ski's weight without sacrificing shock absorption or stability. Moreover, these skis perform equally well on packed snow as they do in powder.
This new version features the Horizon 3D Backland tip, which presents a uniquely bevelled and wider three-dimensional tip, increasing surface area to create a ski that floats better in powder and improves manoeuvrability in variable conditions. Its Cap Sidewall construction ensures ideal power transmission as well as excellent grip on all types of terrain, and its tip rocker allows it to handle all snow conditions comfortably.
Highly versatile, it performs well on all terrains and offers stability comparable to alpine skis. Additionally, the layers of fiberglass along the full length make the ski smooth and stable while remaining light and dynamic.
The Backland 85 is an easy ski to climb on, delivering flawless performance on the descent regardless of the type of snow encountered.
