The Backland 107 is a men's touring ski from Atomic.
The Backland 107 is ideal for the demanding freeskier, who doesn't neglect feeling and style, thanks to its worked shape and high quality materials.
Le Backland 107 incorporates the revolutionaryHRZN built into the tip, which increases the skis surface area at the front for a better lift and confident, fast progression in deep snow. Its rocker Powder specially designed for powder snow, with a more pronounced rocker on the tip and a lighter heel, for even more fun in the powder!
The Backland 107 is designed with an Ultra Light Woodcore, made with Keruba for strength and poplar for lightness, which provides optimal stability and agility for speeding downhill.
There is also an ultra-light Carbon Backbone structure that runs through the entire ski and acts as a backbone along the ski. This stabilises it, for exceptional agility and very good edge grip, all without any additional weight to allow for easier uphill movement.
The Full Sidewall structure allows smooth and stable ride on all terrains, even the toughest ones. This construction provides better control and edge grip. The rounded shape of the Dual Cap Sidewall prevents dents and chips for optimum durability.
The Backland 107 manages to combine the powder performance of a freeride ski with the lightness of a touring ski. Tailored for wide open spaces and abundant powder, this is the perfect ski for experienced skiers looking for an efficient and high performance touring ski!

HRZN Tech: The HRZN Tech technology increases the surface area of the ski tip by 10%. For phenomenal lift in powder, reduced tip deviation and better behaviour in trampled snow.
Fiberglass : The full-length fiberglass layers allow the ski to be smooth and stable while remaining light and dynamic.
