This is an ultra-light ski touring boot, ideal for tourers looking for performance both downhill and uphill. The range Transalp range is intermediate between the Rangers range, which offers alpine boots designed for downhill use but with good climbing ability, and the Travers designed for climbing but with good downhill ability.
This versatile boot features a Pebax Rnewconstruction for downhill use, a Power Bucklebuckle, double locking and extra support. For efficient climbing, the Transalp Tour weighs just 1280g (in size 26.5) and has 80°of travel. This version Carbon Pro with a flex of 130, features a carbon collar to limit the weight of the boot and increase the transfer of forces for greater precision and engagement on the descent.
In terms of comfort, this shoe has a pre-shaped liner and is easy to adjust with just one hand, for an optimum fit. Finally, the shoe offers optimum support for the foot, it doesn't sag and flexion and torsion are well managed by the upper/shoe combination.
In short, the Transalp Carbon Pro is a versatile hiking boot that performs equally well on both ascents and descents.
