Description

The Studio 4 2027 is a unisex freeride ski from the brand, Faction designed for soaring in the park and gliding on Powder snow.

The range Studio is specially designed for freestyle riding in the park and in powder. It comprises four models with bladewidths ranging from 83 to 122 mm at the waist. Although the range is wide, the skis Studio share a common construction.

The result is a poplar core which, combined with carbon fibres, offers not only lightness but also excellent vibration-damping properties. The range also Studio features heavy rockers , complemented by sturdy, fairly rigid tips and tails, as well as a fairly high flex.
You’ll end up with a ski that guarantees excellent receptions, as well as true precision and perfect handling.

The Studio 4 is inspired by the best skis on the market to give you the best possible performance for your park tricks and powder runs. With a waist widthof 122 mm, this ski is ideal for stringing together big jumps! The board finally Studio 4 features identical tip rockers and tail rockers , as well as a standard camber.

This board, which Studio 4 is rigid at the tips and extremely resistant, is designed for expert-level freestylers and freeriders who are ready to go all out off-piste or even in the park!

With this model Faction, there are three binding options, from the most forward to the most rearward: Newschool / Progressive / Classic. By default, the assemblies will be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations, namely Progressive on Dancer, Agent, Prodigy and La Machine ; Newschool on Studio.

POPLAR WOOD Poplar is a light-coloured, softwood that is both lightweight and resistant; it offers good flex and pop, as well as excellent vibration-damping properties. When used on its own, this wood provides pop, makes it easy to perform butters and offers excellent stability on reception – three essential qualities for a park ski – as well as the torsional stability needed for good edge adhesion on the slopes.
2.5 MM XL SQUARES The 2.5 mm edges are 35% thicker than the regular 1.8 mm edges, which are already very resistant. The addition of steel ensures that skiers have a ski that will be more resistant to the rigours of certain types of skiing for longer.
SIDECUTS WITH AN ELLIPTICAL RADIUS Ski sidecuts with elliptical radii consist of a longer radius under the foot and shorter radii at the front and rear of the ski. The long spoke under the foot allows for quicker and easier pivoting, whilst the shorter spokes enable smooth curve handling. These sidecuts are ideally suited to a wide variety of lengths and curve angles.
ULTRA-STRONG EDGE-GLAZED SANDWICH CONSTRUCTION This construction features reinforcements along the edges of the sidewall, between the edge and the topsheet. The edges thus provide the best possible stability and grip when the ski is turning, whilst protecting the wooden core, the edges and the topsheet from potential impacts and external damage.
MICRO-CAP ANTI-SHINE The micro cap is a hybrid design that combines a premium edge-bonded sandwich construction with a lightweight, durable cap construction. Thanks to the sandwich micro-capconstruction, the board offers exceptional edge grip and torsional stability, whilst the topsheet covers the edge in a partial manner, thereby protecting the fragile edge that might otherwise chip on impact.
STOMP PAD TITANIUM/Rubber A titanium/rubber reinforcement underfoot, above the edge, provides extra durability where it matters most for performance-oriented freestyle skis. As well as protecting the wooden core from heavy impacts on the rails, the carbon and rubber insert provides extra stability and vibration absorption under your boots, making your receptions even more comfortable – for both you and your skis.
CARBON FIBRE Between 8 and 12 carbon strips are laid in a unidirectional pattern on either side of the core to provide even greater stability without adding weight. Each carbon strip is woven with fibreglass to provide maximum strength and rigidity in all directions.
BOAT FLEX The wide rocker is complemented by sturdier, more rigid tips and tails, helping to stabilise the skis and propel them through variable snow conditions. Furthermore, rigid tips absorb more vibrations when skiers land after taking off.
