The Skate Banana 2027 is a freestyle snowboard from the brand Lib Tech, designed for intermediate to advanced riders.
As the flagship model of the American brand that handcrafts its own snowboards in the USA, it is the most popular and best-selling board at Lib Tech. This is likely due to its very pronounced rocker forming the hybrid camber Original Banana in a V shape. This allows you to turn more easily and facilitates learning spins for intermediate freestylers and performing ambitious tricks for advanced snowboarders.
Furthermore, the wavy edges with Magne-Traction® will enable you to carve and trace lines on piste as it should be done. As for the UHMW Tip Tail technology, it prevents the core from shifting and blocks water infiltration in case of impact-induced compression. This significantly increases the lifespan of your board. Additionally, this snowboard is made of 75% poplar and 25% paulownia, which greatly helps to lighten the core. This construction, complemented by biaxial and triaxial fiberglass and edges made of birch and UHMW, also provides a very smooth ride.
