Its four-way stretch fabric Polarlite Grid combines a smooth outer layer – perfect for layering – with an interior mesh structure that traps warmth whilst keeping the weight down. The fabric’s open channels ensure excellent breathability and quickly wick away moisture, even during intense exercise. Its fitted hood, two Zipped pockets, Lycra cuffs and elasticated hem ensure optimal comfort and a fit that stays in place, whatever the conditions.

It provides good heat retention and can be compressed into a backpack. Salewa® uses Polarlite® in different weights according to the body mapping principle, to offer targeted warmth exactly where the body needs it. The fleece is extremely versatile. Polarlite® is used to make fleece jackets, as an inner lining for jackets, as a membrane (softshell), protective jackets (hardshell), and as underwear (base layer), as it can be worn directly against the skin.
