The Air Revolution system

With the Air Revolution system, Meindl presents an innovation that makes possible a ventilation system that is among the best on the market. Several awards prove that the Air Revolution has made its mark amongst hikers. How does it work? The tongue of the shoe is taller than those usually found on hiking shoes. This tongue consists of 3D meshes coupled with a sponge material that provides permanent cushioning. This creates a very effective air pump effect: when the foot is placed on the ground, fresh air is drawn into the shoe and when the foot leaves the ground the hot air is directly out of the boot.
