No subject to promotional offersThe Ridge Balsam/Black Out is a men's ski touring boot from the brand Dynafit.
This boot combines lightness and freedom of movement for the ascent with stiffness and precision on the descent. With a cuff range of 70° and a weight of 1280 grams per boot, it is designed for fast ascents and dynamic descents. Its Floating Tongue construction allows the tongue to move horizontally during the ascent to promote a natural walking motion.
Its Dynafitter 5 liner fits into a boot with a 101 mm last. The boot’s construction combines a shell and spoiler made of Grilamid® with a cuff made of glass fibre-reinforced Grilamid®.
In ski mode, the HOJI Lock system locks the cuff with a forward lean of 12° to 15°. Combined with its 110 flex, this system enhances precision and power transmission on the descent, while maintaining a 70° range of motion for the ascent phases.
The Ridge is therefore a ski touring boot aimed at fast ascents and dynamic descents, offering a balance between mobility on the climb and performance on the descent.
