Alpine touring ski bindings -
The Raider 12 SL from the brand ATK Bindings is an ultralight freerando binding designed to improve efficiency on the ascent without compromising enjoyment on the descent.
It is aimed both at freeriders looking to conserve their energy and at ski tourers seeking more comfort and control. Its Speed toe piece features a hybrid mounting pattern, narrow at the front and wider at the back, to optimise downhill performance. Its ergonomic lever makes handling easier, while the Snowpack Proof system limits the build-up of snow and ice beneath the locking mechanism. A removable crampon holder is integrated.
At the rear, the Elastic Response System promotes the ski’s natural flex and contributes to precise release. The Auto Brake system allows quick switching from ascent to descent mode thanks to a rotation of the binding head, then locks the brake in the raised position for climbing. The two Magneto Heel Flaps wedges are easily operated with poles and offer length adjustment up to 25 mm. Finally, lateral and vertical release values are adjustable.

| ALUMINIUM 7075 | Aluminium 7075 (or Alu 7075) is an alloy used in the aerospace sector for its good anodising capabilities and excellent machinability. It can also be used for screws, tool soles, and certain sports equipment (bindings, mountaineering carabiners, ...). |
| POM | Polyoxymethylene (POM), also known as acetal, polyacetal, and polyformaldehyde, is a technical thermoplastic used in precision parts requiring high rigidity, low friction, and excellent dimensional stability. |
| MAGNETO HEEL FLAPS SYSTEM® | This technology significantly increases comfort and transition speed between walk modes: 2 magnetic flaps provide up to 5 walk positions and can be activated with the tip of the pole, thereby reducing the risk of losing balance on steeper slopes. |
| SNOWPACK PROOF SYSTEM® | This technology prevents ice build-up and associated toe blockage even after numerous ascents, significantly reducing snow accumulation on the toe, thus ensuring optimal lightness throughout all phases of use. |
| ELASTIC RESPONSIVE SYSTEM® | A spring is inserted between the endpiece/hinge mount slider and the adjustment screw. If the ski flexes due to compression (bump, jump), the endpiece/hinge mount can move and return to position at the end of the load, without unintended release. |
| AUTO BRAKE SYSTEM® | Only one hand is needed to operate the ski brake. By rotating the binding head 180 degrees, the ski brake activates and the binding switches from climb to descent mode; then you just have to step in and enjoy. Similarly, a further rotation and pressing the boot heel on the rear plate locks the ski brake and starts the ascent. |
