Ski mountaineering bindings -
A lightweight binding developed for competitive ski mountaineering, the brand's Plum R120 is one of the lightest bindings on the market.
Very similar to the R99 in construction, this attachment allows you to add a knife frame if you wish. The DIN here is 7 (non-adjustable) for competitors who are as quick during ascent as they are during descent. Despite being so lightweight, it remains highly reliable thanks to the high-performance materials used by the Haute-Savoie-based brand, such as 7075 T6 aluminium and titanium .
In addition to its featherlight weight, the R120 is a binding that is easy to put on thanks to the "Too Facile" system. In fact, Plum no shims or other components were added; the engineers simply calculated the perfectly correct spacing between the pins.
The R120 is reserved for the most experienced ski mountaineering competitors who want the lightest possible material.
This binding is manufactured and assembled by hand in Haute-Savoie, France, giving it a high-quality finish and reliability.
