60 days to change your mindTop of the range from Karakoram, the Prime X are splitboard bindings for advanced/expert level men. The Prime X offers a near-perfect weight/performance ratio and is one of the most advanced splitboard bindings on the market.
The Prime X revisits the standards of splitboard bindings and sets the bar very high. The Prime X weighs just 550 grams and benefits from an aluminium baseplate and rigid spoiler which increases the responsiveness and precision of the binding. It is the lightest binding from the brand and one of the most performing.
The Prime X has the Prime technology which makes it much easier to switch from climbing to riding mode. Combined with the Active Joining system, Prime X provides the ideal comfort and precision after a long climb. On the downhill they guarantee maximum precision and well-earned fun!
Featuring Asymetric Heelcup technology and Airpods straps, the Prime X provides plenty of support on the way up for performance and precision, while maintaining freedom of movement on the way down.

Open Chassis: the Open Chassis allows the board to work without constraints.
Active Joining Technology: 4 properly spaced contact points give a perfect connection between the board and the binding.

Asymmetric Heelcup: offers direct power transfer on the way up and better freedom of movement on the way down.
Ti And Al Harware : No charge. All screws have been upgraded to custom anodised 7075-T6 aluminium or grade 5 titanium. All pins are made of grade 5 titanium with a hollow core.

Dual Ride-Stride: To save energy in the backcountry, Karakoram introduces a system to adjust the spoiler's inclination. The walk mode allows an incline of -8°, while the ride mode offers an incline of between 0 and 22° that can be preset.

Air-Pod Straps: ankle straps with pods that contact the boots to eliminate compression points.
Carbon Buckles : Made from recycled carbon fibre rope, these buckles are not only strong and lightweight, they also use carbon fibre destined for landfill.

The Prime Splitboard Interface 2.0 will work with all Karakoram Alpine Prime Bindings and Prime Connects that already have Tour Pin adapters.
