Splitboard - Men -

The famous men's splitboard Premiere 2027 developed by the S-Lab of the brand Salomon Snowboard returns this winter.
Salomon Snowboard set out to shave off every possible gram with the idea of making splitboard ascents easier and faster than ever before. The central part of the Premiere has been developed using the same process as the skis of a certain Kilian Jornet. For those unfamiliar, he’s a little guy who hikes around Mont Blanc in flip-flops. Weighing in at 3.7 kilos, the splitboard features a central section that splits into two and easily fits into your backpack.
The two skis, narrower than typical two-piece splitboards, will allow you to follow the tight tracks of ski tourers and maybe even keep up with the group’s pace. The reduced weight of the Premiere was achieved thanks to the use of premium materials such as wood and Balsa for the core.
On the descent side, the Premiere delivers a solid and stiff setup that enables high-speed carving. The pronounced camber provides grip while the rockers allow effortless flotation. Cornering is smooth and seamless thanks to the tapered directional shape.
A performance splitboard (yes, it’s possible), the Premiere expands binding mounting options to let you choose to ride in softboots or hardboots.
Finally, the Premiere is made from environmentally friendly materials and is equipped with knives from the brand Plum as well as custom-cut Pomoca skins.
For splitboarders who are starting to watch the clock, the Premiere will be your rocket for your next touring outings!

| Shape - TAPERED DIRECTIONAL | The width of the tail is slightly tapered (2-20 mm). This allows for smoother initiation of turns and improved flotation in deep snow, without compromising edge hold on hard snow. |
| Core - POPSTER | The strategic machining of the Popster core provides varying thicknesses, delivering a more natural flex underfoot and improving energy transfer to the tips for a more dynamic rebound. |
| ALL-MOUNTAIN EDGE BEVEL | Ready to take on all your all-mountain challenges from the very first use. Featuring a 1.5° edge bevel at the tips and between the feet for better edge grip, without the risk of catching unexpectedly. |
| EQ1 | Linear sidecut between the feet to distribute pressure on the edges, combined with radial lines at the tips. This straight line makes the Premiere splitboard particularly efficient in touring mode. |
| ABS | This molecular structure can be compared to a concrete beam. It provides the necessary rigidity for energy transfer and the damping required for shock absorption. |
