Simple and effective, the Powder BT is an extremely functional avalanche beacon equipped with must-have technology for rapid rescue when every second counts.
The new Powder BT features the same key features as its sister model, the Pro BT, with a new, more ergonomic case design and Bluetooth functionality. It has a maximum range of 60 metres and a system equipped with 3 antennas for extremely precise location-tracking.
This avalanche beacon is compatible with the iProbe intelligent probe which significantly improves search precision by automatically switching from the button on the beacon to that of the probe when it is nearer to the victim. Also featuring a multiple victims indicator, the Powder BT is just as effective in cases where multiple victimes are buried.
Lastly, the Powder BT's Bluetooth connectivity means you can manage settings and software updates from your smartphone, and the harness included with the avalanche beacon is both comfortable and functional for fast handling when every second counts.

- Unique self-check system: checking of all material and software components, as well as display of the current software version.
Screen: easy to read.
- Auto-Antenna-Switch: if the transmission antenna experiences interference due to electronic devices or metal, the other antenna is automatically activated.
- Auto-Search-To-Send: this function enables the PIEPS POWDER BT to automatically switch from SEARCH to SEND mode when the device hasn't been used for a certain amount of time (avalanche).
- iProbe compatible: can be temporarily deactivated using the IPROBE intelligent probe. The most powerful signal is automatically displayed on the receiving avalanche beacon.
- Group check: check the activity and send settings for the partner avalanche transmitter-receiver. PIEPS recommends carrying out a group check before each visit
- Carrying the PIEPS Powder BT System: very comfortable to carry thanks to its low weight.
