The Thunderstorm 2027 is a men's snowboard from the brand Bataleon.
Designed for intermediate to advanced riders, it is renowned for its versatile capabilities across various terrains. Its Directional shape and medium positive camber make it a board very comfortable in powder, which will also delight carving enthusiasts. Its proprietary 3BT technology and Sidekick make it both more dynamic and forgiving, facilitating edge-to-edge transitions and maintaining effective grip on hard snow.
Built around a wood core blending paulownia and poplar, as well as triaxial fiberglass, the Thunderstorm proves very durable despite being very lightweight. It is also equipped with strategically placed carbon reinforcements to maximise its power and responsiveness, allowing you to push beyond your limits.
Whether you want to spend half a day carving the pistes and then join friends off-piste, the full Thunderstorm will be ultra manoeuvrable in powder.

| 3BT (TRIPLE BASE TECHNOLOGY) | Innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimises the potential for edge catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance. From this starting point, we refine each element according to the riding style desired by the board. |
| SIDEKICK | Increases the lift of the lateral base just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. The tips resemble more of a hull, enhancing floatation in deep snow and cutting through crud. It also helps the board roll quickly and smoothly from edge to edge. |
| SUPERTUBES | These are hollow carbon cylinders inserted directly into the core. They reinforce the camber, reduce weight, and significantly increase pop. By varying their placement, we can further fine-tune the board’s performance. |
| TRI-AX | Three-way fibreglass weave, lightweight, strong, and incredibly responsive. It is used to reinforce the flex pattern on our most aggressive boards. |
| ULTRA GLIDE S | A superior quality sintered base of grade 7000 reserved for our high-end models. Integrating more molecules into the P-tex means it is extremely durable and holds up well. |
