Touring skis - Unisex -
The Agent 4 2027 is a unisex freeride touring ski from the brand Faction.
The Agent 4 is the widest ski in the Agent range, ideal for skiing deep snow while remaining light enough to ease ascents. Versatile, it performs equally well in deep powder as in spring’s transformed snow.
To begin with, the Agent 4 has a fairly reasonable weight of 1880 g per ski (in 179 cm length). Thanks to its ultra-light Karuba core, it is as efficient on the climb as it is on the descent. This core provides good flex and absorbs vibrations without adding weight.
The ski is also lightened by carbon strips placed unidirectionally, which bring even more stability, durability, and stiffness in all conditions!
Its sandwich construction provides improved edge contact as well as remarkable terrain adaptability.
The Agent 4, with its rocker, offers excellent floatation and facilitates ski pivoting, while its tips push back the widest part of the ski towards the centre for perfect glide, without risks of catching the edge unexpectedly.
With its 116 mm underfoot, it is a wide ski that will let you enjoy powder runs. Thanks to its standard camber and rockers at the tip and endpiece, the Agent 4 performs very well in all snow conditions, especially when fresh snow has fallen overnight.
It will perfectly accompany you to conquer your favourite untracked spots!
If you are an excellent skier seeking fresh snow and hidden couloirs to make your own tracks far from the crowds, the Agent 4 is made for you!

At Faction, three binding mountings are possible, from the most forward to the most rearward: Newschool / Progressive / Classic. By default, mountings will be done according to the brand’s recommendations, namely Progressive on Dancer, Agent, Prodigy and La Machine; Newschool on Studio.
| KARUBA CORE | Karuba is an extremely lightweight wood that is very strong. This species offers good flex and absorbs vibrations without weighing down the ski, making it ideal for a ski touring core that performs well both uphill and downhill. |
| XL 2.5 MM EDGES | The 2.5 mm edges are 35% thicker than the standard 1.8 mm edges, which are already very durable. The addition of steel allows riders to have a ski that will withstand "aggressions" related to certain practices for longer. |
| ELLIPTICAL RADIUS SIDE CUT | The elliptical radius side cut features a longer radius underfoot and shorter radii at the tip and tail of the ski. The longer radius underfoot allows for quicker and easier pivoting, while the shorter radii enable smooth initiation of turns. These side cuts are perfectly suited to a wide variety of lengths and turn angles. |
| ULTRA-STRONG SIDECUT SANDWICH CONSTRUCTION | This construction is built around reinforcements along the edges of the sidewall, between the edge and the topsheet. The edges thus provide the best possible stability and grip when the ski negotiates a turn, while protecting the wood core, edges and topsheet from potential impacts and external damage. |
| MICRO-CAP CHIP-RESISTANT | Micro cap is a hybrid construction that combines premium sidewall sandwich construction, which is fused with a lightweight and durable cap construction. Thanks to micro-cap, the sandwich construction offers exceptional edge hold and torsional stability while the topsheet partially covers the sidewall, protecting the fragile edge that might otherwise chip in case of impacts. |
| MOUSTACHE FLEX | Stability at the front and rear of the binding area ensures good edge hold. The soft and progressive flex at the endpiece and tip easily absorbs all bumps. This flex facilitates the initiation and completion of turns. |
| FREERIDE FLAT ENDS | This traditional flat endpiece is designed to offer maximum speed, edge hold and control when linking turns at mach 2. The added slight rocker brings a touch of modernity and this shape will allow you to slash your turns even more easily while avoiding any unexpected catch in fresh snow. |
