The Grom from Burton is a kids' snowboard. It is aimed at beginners who want to start learning how to snowboard.
The Grom is for kids who want to switch it up from skiing and prefer the fun side of snowboarding. The combination of a convex base and the softest possible flex makes learning very fun. The flat profile between the feet adds stability for better balance and control of the board.
The FSC™ Certified Fly™ wood core makes the board light without sacrificing its strength.
With its ultra-soft (1/10) flex and its raised edges all around the board, the Grom makes learning to snowboard on piste more fun.

Flex: 1/10- Twin: Twin Flex is perfectly symmetrical from nose to tail for balance and versatility, whether you're riding regular or switch.
Sidecuts: 231.5/ 210.4/203/ 210.4/ 231.5 in the 110cm model
Turn radius: 4.9m for the 110cm size
Camber:
Flat Top with Easy Bevel: a flat profile between the bindings increases stability, improves balance and provides constant edge control. The Early rise on the nose and tail reduces the chances of catching an edge to ensure a smooth ride. With the Easy Bevel, the convex shape of the sole raises the edges and reduces edge catches.
Shape:
Twin: perfectly symmetrical shape to provide better balance whether you're riding normal or switch. Brings natural balance and stability to your rotations, butters and jibs.
Materials/Technologies:
Core - FSC™ Certified Fly™: The brand's classic core, the 900G, mixes 2 varieties of wood to reduce weight without sacrificing flex, pop or strength.
Fiberglass - Biax™: versatile flex to give the board the best response in any situation.
Base- Extruded: speed and strength in a base which requires little maintenance.
Easy Bevel Easy Bevel: promises the snowboarder a soft and forgiving board that will almost never let you catch an edge. This board is easy to manoeuvre due to its soft flex and a convex base which keeps the edges out of the snow. It's easy to control and is ultra-stable.
Epoxy Super Sap®: The Super Sap® is a resin made from biological materials that reduces the carbon footprint by 50% compared to conventional petroleum-based epoxies. Reduced oil consumption means a smaller carbon footprint for every snowboard, which definitely works in our favour.
