The Beyond Medals is a men's snowboard from Bataleon.
A highly versatile board all-mountain shape Directional Twin will increase your level of performance in both park and backcountry. Its pop is insane thanks to the D.S.T carbon reinforcements that help reduce the board's weight and literally send you flying over the slightest bump. And if you're a bit limited on the landing, you can count on the raised edges Sidekick so you don't end up on the mat.
The Beyond Medal is designed to send tricks over every bump you come across. And if, between 2 kicks, you get the urge to carve your hips off, no problem Carbons Stringers will give you insane edge hold that will never let you down.
It'll also give you a great feel for curves and powder, thanks to its 3D base and extra set of inserts at the back of the board that allow you to move your binding back and shift your weight to the back for good flotation.
Its moderately stiff flex (7/10 ) will give you stability and responsiveness.

- Cambre:
Medium Camber: Standard camber slightly revised. Provides a good grip in hard snow, but easily forgives tricky landings and small edge faults.
- Flex:
7/10: Moderately rigid flex. A board that absorbs the unevenness of the terrain while remaining rigid enough to handle speed and grip on hard snow.
- Rockers:
Low Uplift (Tail&Nose): Low rocker in tail and heel for better control and snow feel.
- Shape:
Directional Twin: Directional twin shaft with a nose longer than the tail. Gives these boards a remarkable versatility between freestyle and freeride. Centre and side parts equivalent in size for a balanced ride.
Sidekick: Edges raised at widest points of nose and tail. Allows for smoother curves, increases powder flotation and holds up in difficult snow conditions. You have to ride it to believe it!
- Core:
Ultra Light Woodcore: Wooden core made from 70% Swiss paulownia and 30% poplar for an unbeatable lateral rigidity/weight ratio.
D.S.T. SuperTubes: 2 carbon tubes placed as reinforcement in the core. Drastically increases board pop and camber grip.
Carbon Stringers: Ultra-light carbon blades integrated directly into the core. Result? Explosive pop, precise edge hold and a more responsive board.
- Topsheet:
Bi-Ax Lamination: Bi-directional fibreglass weave adds liveliness to the board without adding torsional rigidity.
- Base:
Hyperglide S: Standard sintered sole, hard and fast, waxed to improve glide.
- Sidewalls:
Shock Walls: urethane sidewalls for a smoother glide and good impact resistance.
- 3BT (Triple Base Technology):
Concept patented by the brand, consisting of a shape based on a working snowboard. Flat central part with a progressive raising of the edges in tip and tail. As a result, you'll be able to track straight ahead without having to worry about the edges catching. On the start of a turn, the board lifts up, providing constant pressure along the edge. On the edge, the arch shape offers an unequalled hold. This shape offers a number of advantages, such as better flotation, less risk of digging your edges into the snow on landings...
