No subject to promotional offersThe Obex Connect By Harman-Kardon Uranium Black is a lightweight, versatile, and practical ski helmet from the brand POC.
This high-performance Connect model incorporates all the essential features that have built the reputation of the Obex, namely an ABS construction with a hard polycarbonate shell and an EPS liner to achieve an optimal protection/durability ratio. It also integrates MIPS® technology, which absorbs rotational energy caused by falls and impacts to reduce the forces transmitted to the brain.
This model is unique in being compatible with an audio system (included in the kit) to expand communication possibilities for each user. This allows eight people to talk simultaneously and exchange valuable information.
Furthermore, the adjustable ventilation channels ensure optimal airflow and effectively evacuate mask fogging. As for the ear pads, they are removable so that, if you wish, you can wear a beanie for better insulation or remove them if it gets too warm. It adjusts quickly and easily without removing the foam padding.
- Removable and washable ear pads
- Full adjustment system without changing the ear pads
- Rear clip attachment for the goggles
- Compatible with the included Obex Communication audio kit
- Medical identification NFC twICEme®
- Safety certifications CE EN 1077-B, ASTM F2040
Composition:
- Outer shell: Polycarbonate with upper section in ABS

Sizes:

| MIPS® | Multidirectional Impact Protection System: Mips® is a revolutionary technology that mimics the brain’s natural protection system. The low-friction Mips® layer creates a sliding margin between the helmet and the head, offering enhanced protection against brain injuries caused by violent rotational forces during oblique impacts. |
| RECCO® | RECCO® is an avalanche rescue system used worldwide to facilitate the rapid location of people. The two-part system includes a detector used by rescuers and reflectors integrated into clothing. Together, they enable quick localisation using radar but do not replace the use of transceivers. |
| OBEX COMMUNICATION | The helmet allows up to 20 people to communicate as a group while skiing together off-piste or on the slopes. The helmet easily connects to a phone, enabling calls or music listening while waiting in lift queues. |
