60 days to change your mind
No subject to promotional offersFor those who prefer to carve their own path, Oakley has created the Mod BC Matte Desert Tan/Ginger ski touring helmet.
This helmet, with its triple certification, is suitable for ski touring and backcountry as well as alpine skiing and mountaineering. Adventurers seeking comfort can even wear it with their favourite headwear, as a small recess at the top of the helmet allows you to slip a cap underneath without sacrificing comfort. For your comfort and hygiene, the Mod BC features a machine-washable antimicrobial Ionic+0 padding. Its 360° adjustment system with MIPS® makes it particularly comfortable. The Fidlock® closure can be operated even with gloves on.
On the safety side, this model covers part of your face like a traditional ski helmet, and is equipped with essential technologies in case of emergency: Recco® to be easily located by rescuers in the event of an avalanche, and the twICEme® NFC Medical ID system which allows you to upload some of your health information so that rescue teams can access it quickly and easily if needed.
For an adventure in complete comfort and peace of mind, choose the Mod BC!

| FIDLOCK® | This magnetic button-free closure system allows you to adjust your equipment without removing your gloves. |
| MIPS® | Multidirectional Impact Protection System: Mips® is a revolutionary technology that mimics the brain’s natural protection system. The low-friction Mips® layer creates a sliding margin between the helmet and the head, providing enhanced protection against brain injuries caused by violent rotational forces during oblique impacts. |
| TWICEME® NFC MEDICAL ID | The twICEme® NFC medical ID chip provides access to essential medical and emergency contact details. The NFC writing function is available on most Android phones, on the iPhone 7 and newer models running iOS 13 or later updates. |
| RECCO® | RECCO® is an avalanche rescue system used worldwide to facilitate rapid location of individuals. The two-part system includes a detector used by rescuers and reflectors integrated into clothing. Together, they enable quick localisation using radar but do not replace the use of transceivers. |
