It can absorb one third of its weight in water vapour, and its heat release prevents the sensation of cooling. Even when wet, the garment remains warm. Wool fibres are naturally resistant to mechanical wear, soil very little, and are antibacterial, significantly reducing unpleasant odours as well as washing needs. Like all natural materials, merino wool is biodegradable. |
