The Mammut airbag pack is an essential piece of mountain equipment for skiers heading off-piste. Its dedicated compartments and patented airbag system allow you to enjoy your passion with added safety. Mammut offers a range of airbag packs available on Snowleader.
Mammut airbag packs: a lifeline in case of avalanche
The airbag backpack system is simple: the skier pulls a handle, releasing compressed air from a cartridge and activating another device to draw in outside air. The avalanche pack helps the user stay on the surface, increasing their chances of survival.
The Airbag System 3.0: a Mammut innovation
Mammut's system is called Airbag Technology 3.0. This new system is lighter, weighing around 1 kg, making the packs more comfortable both uphill and downhill. Comfort is improved thanks to this lighter, more compact design. The 3.0 airbag system is removable, making your pack more versatile as you can take out the system when you don't need the airbag.
The Airbag 3.0 system has also been enhanced with an improved inflation system, featuring an air amplifier for faster and more efficient inflation without increasing the size of the system. The handle has also been redesigned to be more intuitive, compact, and adjustable in length. Find your next airbag backpack on Snowleader!
