Inspired by nature, Patagonia has chosen hollow yarns in designing this technical jacket. To adapt to their cold environment, animals such as polar bears have hollow tube fur. Air is stored inside to create an excellent layer of insulation which protects them from the freezing air. This model has been thoughtfully designed to guarantee you the perfect layer to conserve your body heat, and provide excellent moisture wicking to keep you dry.
For your wellbeing (and that of your fellow athletes), the thermal layer is also equipped with the HeiQ® Fresh odour control system. Prevents the growth of odour-causing bacteria on fabrics!
Finally the R1 Air Full-Zip Hoody has a fitted cut and a long hem so that it stays in place under a harness or trousers and prevents cold air from blowing up your back. This fleece is perfect for sports activities that require a certain amount of warmth as well as for everyday sportswear.
