Alpine touring ski bindings -
The Freeraider 14 SL Black from ATK Bindings is a ski touring binding designed for demanding skiers seeking precision and reliability, both uphill and downhill.
Its Speed toe piece features a hybrid mounting system that enhances downhill performance and an ergonomic lever to facilitate transitions. The Snowpack Proof system limits the build-up of snow and ice beneath the locking mechanism. The endpiece integrates the Elastic Response System (ERS), which promotes the ski’s natural flex and ensures precise release. The Auto Brake system allows for quick switching from uphill to downhill mode thanks to a rotation of the binding head.
The Magneto heel risers offer two height settings and are easily operated with poles. Made from 7075 aluminium, POM and stainless steel, the Freeraider 14 SL features a release range of 7 to 14, a 25 mm length adjustment and a 14 mm elastic endpiece. A robust and versatile solution for the most demanding ski touring routes!

| ALUMINIUM 7075 | Aluminium 7075 (or Alu 7075) is an alloy used in the aerospace sector for its good anodising capabilities and excellent machinability. It can also be used for screws, tooling soles, and in some sporting equipment (bindings, mountaineering carabiners, etc.). |
| POM | Polyoxymethylene (POM), also known as acetal, polyacetal, and polyformaldehyde, is a technical thermoplastic used in precision parts requiring high rigidity, low friction, and excellent dimensional stability. |
| MAGNETO HEEL FLAPS SYSTEM® | This technology significantly increases comfort and transition speed between walking modes: 2 magnetic flaps provide up to 5 walking positions and can be activated with the tip of the pole, thereby reducing the risk of losing balance on steeper slopes. |
| SNOWPACK PROOF SYSTEM® | This technology prevents ice build-up and associated toe blockage even after many ascents, significantly reducing snow accumulation on the toe, thus ensuring optimal lightness throughout all phases of use. |
| ELASTIC RESPONSIVE SYSTEM® | A spring is inserted between the endpiece/hinge mount slider and the adjustment screw. If the ski flexes due to compression (bump, jump), the endpiece can move and return to position at the end of the load, without unintended release. |
| AUTO BRAKE SYSTEM® | Only one hand is needed to operate the stop-ski. By rotating the binding head 180 degrees, the stop-ski is activated and the binding switches from ascent mode to descent mode; then all that remains is to step in and enjoy. Similarly, a further rotation and pressing the boot heel on the rear plate locks the stop-ski and starts the climb. |
| RELEASE ADJUSTMENT TOE PIECE® | Customised adjustment of the release on the front part of the binding. |
