The Family Tree Short Stop 2025 is a unisex touring snowboard from Burton.
The Family Tree is a range of snowboards developed by the American brand, with the aim of offering freeride-centred snowboards with innovative shapes and characteristics. This board has been made to shred everywhere and anywhere! On challenging routes or in dense forests, this board is very efficient and has no weak points. With its directional shape and 20mm taper, it will be easy to ride virgin powder fields.
The Dragonfly™ 600G Core with Multizone EGD™ core makes this a lightweight board that doesn't compromise on resistance or performance. This way, you will have all the precision you need for your far-reaching turns in powder. Both short and wide, it's a fairly rigid board that's very responsive. The Carbon Highlights 45° fibreglass construction optimises each layer of fibreglass and carbon to reduce weight and refine the feel of the torsion.
The Sintered WFO base glides beautifully and is durable, so you won't lose glide year after year. The Super Sap® Epoxy makes the topsheet resistant and more environmentally friendly.
Thanks to Infinite Ride™ technology, your snowboard will retain its original performance throughout its life. With the The Channel® mounting system, you'll find perfect positioning and compatibility with all the major brands of fixings.
As you can see, the Family Tree Short Stop will give you unrivalled performance both downhill and uphill on virgin slopes! You have in your hands the ultimate weapon for exploring the mountains!

| FSC™ Certified Dragonfly™ 600G Core with Multizone EGD™ and Squeezebox | TheDragonfly 600G core with multi-zone EGD features end-grain woods in the impact zones for lighter weight without loss of strength. The Squeezebox construction involves thickening and thinning sections of the board's profile around and between the bindings to improve energy transfer. Lighter but equally resistant wood species make it possible to lighten the board while maintaining its strength. The Multizone EGD™ construction involves arranging the wood fibers of the core perpendicular to the rest of the core at the support zones for better edge control and power transmission. |
| 45° Carbon Highlights | The Carbon Highlights 45° fiberglass construction optimizes each layer of the fiberglass matrix and adds an integral carbon coating to reduce weight and refine torsion feel. |
| Sintered WFO | The WFO sintered base features a specially formulated wax deep into the pores of its extra-absorbent high-density material, making it extremely durable for all season riding in all conditions. |
| The Channel® | The Channel® snowboard mounting system is designed to allow you to find the perfect position, and is compatible with the major brands' bindings. |
| Pro-Tip™ | The nose and tail are thinner than the rest of the board to save weight and improve handling. |
| Infinite Ride™ | This technology ensures that the snowboard retains its initial flex, pop and other characteristics throughout its lifespan. |
| Super Sap® Epoxy | Resistant Topsheet with a resin made from biological materials that reduces the carbon footprint by 50% compared to conventional petroleum-based epoxies. Reduced oil consumption means a smaller carbon footprint for every snowboard, which definitely works in our favour. |
