Description

The men's base layer bottoms Expedition Merino Silk Longs Ink from Devold are technical long tights designed for demanding athletes.

These tights combine the softness and performance of merino wool with the finesse of silk to provide optimal thermal comfort. Their lightweight and breathable fabric features Aquaduct technology, which ensures effective moisture management by quickly wicking sweat away to keep the skin dry. With flat seams and an elasticated waistband, they guarantee a comfortable fit without irritation during activity.

Thanks to their thermoregulatory, anti-odour properties and quick-drying capability, these tights are perfect for intense activities in cold conditions. Their 235 g/m² weight provides suitable warmth, even when wet, for optimal maintenance of body temperature.

MERINO WOOL The comfort and performance of merino sheep wool are exceptional. Soft and supple, this wool is an excellent thermal insulator that ideally regulates body temperature in both winter and summer. It can absorb one third of its weight in the form of water vapour, and its heat output prevents the sensation of cooling. Even when wet, the garment remains warm. Wool fibres are naturally resistant to mechanical wear, resist soiling, and are antibacterial, significantly reducing unpleasant odours as well as washing frequency. Like all natural materials, merino wool is biodegradable.
Aquaduct A moisture management textile technology mainly used by the brand Devold on its thermal base layers and high-performance merino wool garments. It promotes sweat absorption, rapid evacuation to the outer fabric, and accelerated evaporation, in order to keep the skin dry and improve comfort during exertion.
