Avalanche victim detector -

The Evo BT is a high-end avalanche transceiver (DVA) from the brand Arva that combines performance and connectivity to meet the needs of the new generation of users.
Equipped with a search strip width of 60 m and Bluetooth technology, you can connect it to the ARVA app to access a range of services: configure the transceiver, prepare your outing, or train for rescue. Furthermore, during your search it will automatically switch back to transmit mode in the event of a secondary avalanche. You can also easily ensure that everyone in the group has activated their transceiver thanks to the Group Check function: simply place the device in proximity search mode.
Finally, in multi-victim situations, this device features a marking function for up to 4 victims and 3 antennas to refine search accuracy. It is also equipped with a soft holster that adapts to all body types.
As you can see, the Evo BT, with its multiple features, is perfectly suited to ensure your safety during your outings in snowy terrain.

| SEARCH BAND WIDTH | The search band width corresponds to the area scanned by the search device. The wider the search band, the larger the area covered by the device. This can be used to compare the performance of different transceivers. |
| AUTOMATIC RETURN TO TRANSMISSION | During a search, in case of a secondary avalanche, the return to transmission function automatically switches the device back to transmission mode without user intervention. The return to transmission happens either by timer, that is after a delay without user action, or by motion detector, after a delay without device movement. These delays can be configured in the device settings menu. |
| DYNAMIC INTERFERENCE MANAGEMENT | Interference management optimises the device’s performance in an environment “polluted” by electromagnetic interference. To do this, the searching device automatically reduces the search band width to focus on the signal of the targeted device, ignoring parasitic frequencies. This function can be disabled by the user. |
| GROUP CHECK | The Group Check function simply ensures that all group members are wearing a transmitting transceiver. The group check function places the device in proximity search mode, allowing each group member to be individually checked by standing less than one metre from them. |
| MARKING FUNCTION | During a search, once a victim is located, the marking function allows ignoring this victim to focus on searching for another. The signal from the “marked” victim is then no longer considered in the ongoing search. |
| AUTOTEST | When switched on, the device performs an automatic check. It verifies battery level, device functionality, and alerts you in case of any issues. |
