The Dancer 79 2027 is a brand-name piste Faction ski that’s perfect for carving, cutting through the snow and venturing off-piste with style and confidence.

Built around a poplar core, the Dancer 79 offers an excellent balance between lightness, strength and responsiveness. With a 79 mm waist and a short radius featuring elliptical technology , it ensures quick and precise turn initiation, allowing you to maintain control effortlessly. The slight tip rocker and tail rocker offer greater forgiveness and handling, whilst maintaining excellent adhesion/grip on the slope. The 2.5 mm XL edges, meanwhile, provide reinforcement for durability and grip on hard snow, allowing you to ski with confidence all season long.

Designed to last and maintain its performance, this ski also features a brushed top sheet that enhances its durability and gives it a polished finish. Its construction, inspired by the Non-TI Dancer range, makes it an accessible, stable and playful model, ideal for skiers who want to improve their skills or simply enjoy themselves on a ski that’s more responsive than a Classic piste model.

With this model Faction, there are three binding options, from the most forward to the most rearward: Newschool / Progressive / Classic. By default, installations will be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations, namely Progressive on Dancer, Agent, Prodigy and La Machine, Newschool on Studio.

POPLAR WOOD	Poplar is a light-coloured softwood that offers good flex and pop, as well as excellent vibration-damping properties. As for ash, it is a heavier, harder wood that combines well with poplar, as it adds greater rigidity and durability. This combination offers excellent edge grip on hard snow and a solid platform for big receptions, as well as more than enough pop and flex to unleash your creativity.
2.5 MM XL EDGES	The 2.5 mm edges are 35% thicker than the regular 1.8 mm edges, which are already very resistant. The addition of steel ensures that skiers have a ski that will have greater durability and will withstand the rigours of certain types of skiing for longer.
SIDECUTS WITH AN ELLIPTICAL RADIUS	Ski sidecuts with elliptical radii consist of a longer radius under the foot and shorter radii at the front and rear of the ski. The long spoke under the foot allows for quicker and easier pivoting, whilst the shorter spokes enable smooth curve handling. These sidecuts are ideally suited to a wide variety of lengths and curve angles.
ULTRA-STRONG EDGE-GLAZED SANDWICH CONSTRUCTION	This construction features reinforcements along the edges of the side wall, between the edge and the topsheet. The edges thus provide the best possible stability and grip when the ski is turning, whilst protecting the wooden core, the edges and the topsheet from potential impacts and external damage.
MICRO-CAP ANTI-SHINE	The micro cap is a hybrid design that combines a premium edge-bonded sandwich construction with a lightweight, durable cap construction. Thanks to the sandwich micro-capconstruction, the board offers exceptional edge grip and torsional stability, whilst the topsheet covers the edge in a partial manner, thereby protecting the fragile edge that might otherwise chip on impact.
MOUSTACHE FLEX	Stability at the front and rear of the binding area ensures good edge grip. The soft, progressive flex at the heel and tip easily absorbs all bumps. This flex makes it easier to initiate and finish turns.
