The Crux Dark Grey is a ski touring boot for men from Head.
This highly versatile boot has been designed to keep the weight down on the ascent and ski with rigidity and precision on the descent.
Extremely comfortable on ascent, it offers 55° of Travel to help you progress even on the most Difficult slopes, and is light enough to save energy.
Its flexible tongue allows the foot to move naturally, avoiding unnecessary friction points and preventing the first signs of fatigue.
Its Thermosettable liner remains stable and precise, even on long outings with a lot of positive drop, and provides good support for the foot with its 99mmfit. It also has a sole Vibram® Grip and Adhesion/Grip for walking and approach phases.
Ascent is good, descent is better! That's why, once you're at the top, all you have to do is switch from walking to skiing mode by operating the lever to lock the device and lock the boot forward at 14° +/- 2° .
This incline combined with a flex of 120 gives you a very pleasant balance between precision and comfort for dedicated skiing on the descent.
