Charger Pro Black

The Charger Pro Black is a men's splitboard binding from the brand Union. More upmarket than theExplorer, the Charger features a quick ascent/descent transition system and is aimed at experienced riders. This version Pro is the highest-performing, most thoroughly tested and reliable splitboard binding, designed with Forrest Shearerthe help of a professional splitboarder.

Unlike the Explorer, the Charger have no pins and are fitted with a dual-locking system with a rear lever, allowing you to switch quickly and easily between ascent and descent modes. This system therefore saves you the hassle of handling small parts in the cold and snow. The EXP3base Duraflex CB is rigid and provides excellent support, ensuring the foot remains stable. The straps Exoframe 5.0 TS 4.0 reduce pressure points around the ankle and the balls of the feet, whilst maintaining optimal support.

The spoilerEXP4 and its new, more shape rigid asymmetrical design offer greater support on long traverses and quickedge-to-edge power for the descent. During the ascent, the spoiler can be set to the vertical position to improve stride length. The heel wedge is integrated directly into the binding base and is easy to position, making it easier for you to tackle the steepest slopes. Finally, the forged carbon heel pieces are 45% lighter than regular extruded Aluminium heel pieces, whilst being just as resistant.
